Updated Recto 4×12 V30. For old users of my nebula programs, I’m using consecutive numbering for my programs, so you don’t lose the previous programs.
There are five new nebula programs with more accurate capture. Erectus 4 with sm57 cap edge, Erectus 5 sm57 cap, Erectus 6 sm57 cap angled, Erectus 7 sm57 cone angled and Erectus 8 e609 cap edge. These five programs should be phase compatible all of them, but probably not compatible with my older programs.
Just copy the n2p file into the programs directory, and the n2v into the vectors directory.
All my programs are showed in nebula menu as EVC. These new programs are captured using a different session of NAT3, a reverb session. So they shouldn’t make any weird noises, but as always Take care of your ears and equipment. These are not professional libraries, so put a limiter in the master to avoid damages.
My welcome and quick guide is for older programs captured with distorted preamp session, however you could find some usefull information.
This time I have also made impulse responses. I can’t hear any difference between the impulses and the nebula programs, at least in terms of equalization. Maybe the programs have more dynamics. The impulses are correctly named so you won’t have any problem to identify them. Just load’em into your favourite impulse loader.
Demo Sound: Left Rhythm guitar Peavey 5150 preamp, Right Rhythm guitar JCM800 preamp boosted with TS, both into Nebula Erectus 5 (sm57 cap) with very little eq treatment. Lead guitars and solos are done with plugins and an experimental program.
And a quick clip showing the different programs (or impulses)
Check’em, test’em, and if you like my programs, donate, or comment, or recommend to your friends, or…whatever. Thank you.
